Job summary

Horizon Controls Group - Cork is seeking a DeltaV Engineer to lead automation projects for a state-of-the-art bioprocess facility in Meath, Ireland. You will develop, implement and oversee project execution for automation, designing end-to-end solutions and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Instrument, or Chemical engineering.
5+ years of industry experience.
5+ years DeltaV configuration experience (Batch and Continuous).
Process control project experience.
Ability to develop proposals and quote large batch projects.
Knowledge of advanced control techniques.
Startup experience on large automation projects.
English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Process Automation System engineers to develop design documentation.
Prepare Configuration Functional Design Specifications.
Consult with Safety Instrumented System Engineer to develop control strategies.
Implement DeltaV and configure systems from narratives and P&IDs.
Develop end-to-end automation solutions and ensure project deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and manage project teams.
Develop and test controls for complex processes.
Drive improvements and standardize processes.
