Job summary

Horizon Controls Group is recruiting a DeltaV Engineer for a leadership role in a world‑leading bioprocess facility in Meath. You will drive automation project execution, design and implement DeltaV control systems, and mentor a team of automation engineers to deliver high‑quality, compliant solutions.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, develop design documentation, and ensure project milestones are met while maintaining safety and standards across complex batch and continuous

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
Minimum 5 years DeltaV configuration experience (Batch and Continuous).
Experience in startup of large automation projects.
Ability to develop proposals and quote large batch projects.

Responsibilities

Provide automation engineering services and lead a team of Process Automation engineers.
Develop design documentation including Functional Design Specifications.
Consult with Safety Instrumented System Engineer to develop control strategies.
Implement DeltaV control systems on new and upgrading projects.
Configure DeltaV using Narratives & P&IDs, Function Blocks, and Structured Text.
