Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a STEM field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data science and ML, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading ML projects from research to production deployment.
• Strong cybersecurity concepts and ability to bridge data science with security operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Establish technical standards and best practices for ML development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Define and drive the technical strategy for ML initiatives in threat detection and agentic AI for security.
• Lead ML projects from initial research through production deployment with measurable impact.
• Plan and prioritize team roadmaps balancing research and production ML systems.
• Collaborate with security research, engineering, and product teams to align ML with business objectives.
• Communicate complex ML concepts to stakeholders across the organization.
