Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Lead Cloud Security Engineer within the CDAO group to secure Data & AI/ML services in public cloud. You will manage risk, guide security controls, and ensure compliant cloud design across architectures.

Responsibilities include risk-based assessments, IaC review, and collaboration with IAM, threat intel, and network security. Mentoring junior staff and contributing to agile security initiatives are expected.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with cloud security concepts and controls.
• Hands-on AWS security experience and tooling.
• Interest or experience in Data Analytics & AI/ML incl. Generative AI/LLMs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk and control strategy work for Data & AI/ML in public cloud.
• Assess technology controls across cloud services, platforms and architecture.
• Advise business tech teams on control requirements and best practices.
• Review infrastructure-as-code for security alignment.
• Develop documentation and support agile security initiatives.
• Collaborate with security teams for SE-OT, IAM, and network security.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
