Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Ireland seeks a Senior Lead Cloud Security Engineer within the CDAO group to ensure Data & AI/ML services in public cloud are designed and implemented securely. You will identify risk, advise technology teams and align IaC with security standards across cloud architectures.

The role emphasizes hands-on security in GCP, IAM, encryption, logging and collaboration with security operations, threat intelligence and network teams. Strong mentorship is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing data and applications in public cloud environments.
• Proven work with GCP security concepts, IAM, encryption and logging best practices.
• Interest in Data Analytics, AI/ML including Generative AI and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of risk-based security controls for Data & AI/ML in public cloud.
• Guide architecture teams on firm security requirements across cloud platforms.
• Review infrastructure-as-code and ensure alignment with security standards.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and support agile initiatives.
• Collaborate with security operations, threat intel, IAM and network teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
