Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead cloud-native reliability, release, and test platforms. You will drive Kubernetes-based platform evolution, partner with engineers to implement automation-first reliability practices, and improve release confidence through automated validation and observability.

You will design production-like environments, build reusable test frameworks, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines in a large-scale cloud-native setting in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software, systems, or reliability engineering.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise across architecture, operations, networking, storage, security, autoscaling and multi-cluster environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and release validation; proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud-native engineering platforms for validation, release qualification, and operational readiness.
• Design production-like release and test environments to improve confidence and readiness.
• Develop automated quality gates to assess release health and production readiness.
• Integrate automated testing and observability into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead Kubernetes-based platform evolution for scalable test infrastructure and developer self-service.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design reviews and reliability practices.
