Job summary

Fehily Timoney and Company is recruiting a Principal Civil Engineer to join the Energy team in Cork, Dublin or Carlow. The role focuses on leading design and deliverables for renewable energy and planning projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and driving client relationships.

The successful candidate will bring Chartered status, 12+ years of post-graduate experience, and strong project management and leadership skills to help grow the Energy and Planning division while

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered status are essential.
• 12+ years of post-graduate experience required.
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills expected.
• Experience engaging with external stakeholders, clients and sub-contractors is important.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical reports to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Plan and oversee design activities with project teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to tender and proposal preparation.
• Provide line management and leadership to team members.
• Ensure compliance with QA systems, procedures and health & safety laws.
• Coordinate with colleagues across disciplines.
