Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland’s leading independent consultancies in Sustainable Infrastructure, Energy and Renewables. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer with a renewables focus to join our Sustainable Infrastructure team in Cork, Carlow or Dublin.

The role offers exposure to Wind Farms, Solar projects and BESS, with design, independent checking and Owners Engineer duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered Engineer status.
• 8 years post-graduate experience for Senior; 12 years for Principal.
• Experience in design and delivery of infrastructure schemes in Ireland or the UK.
• Renewables project delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with design-and-build and Owners Engineer roles is a plus.
• Strong client engagement and multi-disciplinary management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and quality requirements.
• Supervise and mentor senior and junior staff in Sustainable Infrastructure.
• Prepare designs, technical reports and tender documents for renewables projects.
• Plan and manage design work, coordinating with Discipline Leads and Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QS and health and safety legislation.
• Coordinate work with project team and Sustainable Infrastructure colleagues.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders for projects; travel to site visits as required.
