Job summary

TLI Group is seeking a Senior Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design on complex projects from design through to construction. The role can be based in our Dublin, Tralee or Cork offices, with occasional site travel.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes, and provide design solutions across steel, concrete, and foundations. A strong chartered status and engineering software proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Honours Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status (Engineers Ireland or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead Designer on projects through the contract lifecycle.
• Undertake Design Certifier and Assigned Certifier responsibilities where required.
• Mentor junior team members and review design work.
• Attend client meetings and advise on design issues.
• Design steelwork and reinforced concrete; utilise structural design software.
• Foundation & Geotechnical design; ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and Eurocodes.
