You will work with clients, architects, contractors and authorities while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Level 8 degree in civil/structural engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Minimum 8–10 years post-graduate experience in Irish engineering.
• Experience as Design Certifier/Assigned Certifier under BCAR.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and civil design across residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational projects.
• Undertake Design Certifier and Assigned Certifier duties as required.
• Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Design and assess steel, RC, timber, masonry and foundations.
• Manage drainage, roads, site development and infrastructure works.
• Review designs and liaise with clients, contractors and authorities.
• Attend meetings, design reviews and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to business development.
