Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Analytical Development Shift Lead Analyst to oversee the Analytical Development group within the client environment. The role involves leading a weekend B shift, coordinating QA checks, and driving quality and service excellence in a GMP setting.

The successful candidate will manage a high-performing lab team, mentor staff, and ensure compliant documentation, data, and reports while supporting continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in chemistry or a related subject.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory
• Experience in a leadership capacity
• Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills
• Passionate about quality and client service.
• Good communication skills both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Act as site leader for the B shift on the weekends.
• Managing QBAS as lead checker and scheduler
• Lead and coordinate a high-performing laboratory team, driving productivity, quality, safety, and customer service excellence.
• Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring service delivery consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
• Support the development, coaching, and performance of team members through training, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Manage laboratory scheduling, resource planning, and cross-training activities to maximise efficiency and achieve service level agreements.
• Review, approve, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, data, SOPs, and reports in line with GMP and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using performance metrics and technical expertise to enhance processes, quality, and operational effectiveness.
