Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to drive technical development and productivity improvements in the lab. You will lead method development, validation, and accreditation activities, and provide expert support across QA, QC, and operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a UKAS/INAB 17025 Laboratory.
• 5 years experience in method development, method optimisation and validation.
• Able to research and advise on emerging technologies, method improvements, automation and emerging contaminants.
• Able to develop any new inorganic analytical techniques as required by the customer and business.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff through training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, validation, verification, and implementation of new organic and inorganic analytical methods.
• Research and introduce new analytical technologies, instrumentation, and testing capabilities.
• Conduct non-routine investigations, method development studies, and complex data evaluations.
• Prepare and review validation packages and technical documentation for accreditation.
• Lead submissions to INAB for scope extensions and support accreditation assessments.
• Provide advanced technical expertise and troubleshooting across laboratory operations.
