Job summary

Templeshannon Community & Childcare Centre in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, is seeking a Lead Afterschool Educator to create a fun, relaxed and nurturing environment for children after school.

The role involves leading activities, helping children unwind and socialise, planning crafts, baking, reading and outdoor play, building positive relationships with children, parents and the school, and providing leadership within the service.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Early Years or School Aged Childcare setting.
• Leadership experience is essential.
• Early Years qualification desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A warm, positive and creative approach.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
