Job summary

Slieve Russell Hotel and Country Club in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Ireland, is seeking a Laundry Department assistant to maintain linen cleanliness to high standards. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to department procedures.

Shifts available are 0600-1430, 0730-1600 or 1800-0200, covering midweek and weekend days up to 5 days. Excellent benefits are offered to support a long-term career in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation.
• Good command of the English Language.
• Experience in a cleaning role would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that all service provided by you is in accordance with your department procedures
• To report all maintenance faults to the Laundry Management Team
• To have a full knowledge of all Laundry services and a general knowledge of all hotel facilities and opening hours
• To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in your area of work.
• To have a full knowledge of all products in the department.
• Attend all training courses as notified to you by management

We have a role within our Laundry Department which will involve ensuring all linen within the hotel is washed, dried, pressed and stored to the standards required. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail as we have very high quality control standards,

The hours of work for this role will involve either 0600-1430, 0730-1600 or evening work from 1800-0200. This role will cover both midweek and weekend days up to 5 days per week so unfortunately will not suit a student at this time.
