Job summary

Elite Cuisine Limited in Cork is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team. Your duties include washing pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment to a high standard, keeping the wash-up area and floors clean, and assisting chefs with basic prep.

No experience is required as full training is provided. A food hygiene certificate is an advantage, and we offer full training in food safety, a friendly team environment, and early-morning shifts from 7am to 12pm in a busy hospitality setting.

• Flexible availability, including early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
• Keeping the kitchen, wash-up area and floors clean and tidy throughout shift.
• Following cleaning schedules and food safety procedures.
• Assisting chefs with basic prep and stock put-away when needed.
• Safe disposal and segregation of waste.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.
