The Ellison Hotel in Castlebar is seeking a Kitchen Porter to help maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment. You will wash and store crockery, utensils and equipment, and perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks according to the cleaning schedule.

You will work closely with chefs and service teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations, adhere to HACCP and health and safety standards, and promptly report any incidents or maintenance needs.

Qualificações

• Previous kitchen porter experience preferred.
• Able to follow cleaning schedules and hygiene rules.
• Good communication and teamwork with kitchen staff.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times.
• Wash and store crockery, utensils and equipment promptly.
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks according to schedules.
• Assist in collecting and cleaning pots, pans and utensils.
• Follow cleaning materials and chemicals as directed and maintain safety standards.
• Report incidents or maintenance needs to management.
• Be punctual and in full uniform when on duty.
• Maintain professional conduct with all staff across departments.
• Carry out duties as directed by Chefs on duty.
• Ensure sanitation, hygiene and safety standards are met at all times.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stores and walk-ins are kept clean.
