Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Ireland is seeking a reliable kitchen assistant to join our busy kitchen team in Faithlegg. This permanent role may be full- or part-time, offering opportunities to work across shifts and contribute to high standards of guest care.

You will clean and maintain kitchen plant and equipment, prepare and set up areas, and work 3–5 days per week in a fast-paced environment, with midweek availability essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, reliability and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the team.
• Midweek availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen plant and equipment to prescribed standards.
• Ensure all areas are prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
• Plan and organise work area.
• Work 3-5 days per week in the busy Kitchen department.
• Work as part of the team.
• Ensure cleaning records are kept up to date.
