Job summary

Faithlegg Hotel is seeking a diligent kitchen porter to maintain and clean kitchen plant and equipment to high standards, ensuring readiness before and after service.

You will work in the busy kitchen, plan and organise your area, and contribute to a hygienic, efficient team. Midweek availability is essential, with flexibility across 3–5 days per week and good communication as key assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Midweek availability is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen plant and equipment to the prescribed standards.
• Ensure all areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
• Plan and organise work area;
• Work 3-5 days per week in the busy Kitchen department;
• Work as part of the team;
• Ensure that cleaning records are kept up to date.
