Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, support chefs during service, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Experience in a busy kitchen, strong English communication, and a proactive work ethic are essential. On-site parking and staff facilities are available, with opportunities for internal career growth within the GN Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering or busy kitchen environment is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic with initiative and reliability.
• Ability to adapt, prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas and floors.
• Support chefs during service as required.
• Conduct deep cleans according to cleaning schedule.
• Operate the dishwashing machine and ensure a steady supply of clean dishes.
• Assist with deliveries, stock storage and waste management.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
