Job summary

Neville Hotel Group in Waterford is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support multiple kitchens, delivering high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene in the back of house.

The role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and strict adherence to health and safety procedures.

You will wash and sanitise equipment, maintain cleaning schedules, assist with deliveries and stock rotation, and report any equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of hygiene, health & safety procedures.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and to working on own initiative.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all kitchens are maintained to the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Wash and sanitize of all kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations.
