Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Porter (Casual) to support our busy kitchen teams across our properties. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills and grow.

You will join a friendly team with opportunities to develop, promote from within, and contribute to HACCP standards while supporting Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is required.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and assist in monitoring of food; maintain clean ware, cooking ware and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchens at all times.
• Work with the chef team to uphold HACCP standards.

Your Job

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food. Maintaining a supply of clean ware/cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards
