Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Santry, Dublin, is seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, experienced kitchen porter to join our catering kitchen team. This permanent, full-time role offers varied shifts and the chance to grow with the brand.

You will keep the kitchen clean, support deliveries, and work under the Head Chef. We value teamwork, reliability, and flexibility, including early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery and utensils.
• Daily clean of kitchen areas.
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment.
• Keep store areas neat and tidy.
• Provide porter support with deliveries.
• Handle waste areas, packaging disposal, and recycling.
• Assist Head Chef in various areas as needed.
• Attend training to perform duties safely.
• Carry out other duties as may be required.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to come in to work every day and who’s ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

Skills Required:

You will help to keep a kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe, and hygienic.

• Wash crockery and utensils
• Daily clean of kitchen areas
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment
• Keep store areas neat and tidy
• Provide Porter support with deliveries
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, disposal of packaging, recycling .
• Provide Porter support in all areas controlled by Head Chef
• Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

• Be a team player
• Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards adhering toHACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
• Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
• Comply within company dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Have a valid work permit/visa
