Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Ireland is seeking an experienced kitchen porter to join our Santry-based Catering Kitchen. This full-time, permanent role provides a friendly team environment and opportunities to develop with the brand.

You will help keep the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. Tasks include washing crockery, daily and deep cleaning, stock organization, deliveries support, and assisting the Head Chef as needed.

Qualifications

• Be a reliable team player who supports overall kitchen operations.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and store safety standards.

Responsibilities

We're looking for someone who's excited to come in to work every day and who's ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

Skills Required

You will help to keep a kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe, and hygienic.

• Wash crockery and utensils
• Daily clean of kitchen areas
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment
• Keep store areas neat and tidy
• Provide Porter support with deliveries
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, disposal of packaging, recycling .
• Provide Porter support in all areas controlled by Head Chef
• Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

The Ideal Candidate Must

• Be a team player
• Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards adhering to HACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
• Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
• Comply within company dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Have a valid work permit/visa
