Job summary

Sodexo Ireland in Limerick is hiring a Kitchen Porter on a full-time basis. You will keep kitchen areas clean, assist with deliveries, waste disposal, and support chefs in food prep, within a 9:00am-5:00pm 5 over 7 pattern and a 37.5 hour week.

The role offers training, benefits, and career development opportunities in a fast-paced corporate catering team. Entry level role with 1 year experience preferred; no formal qualification required.

• Desirable: Administration and interpersonal skills, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean and organized.
• Assist chefs with deliveries, check and store incoming deliveries.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables safely.
• Support chefs with food prep tasks as needed.
• Work closely with the kitchen team and colleagues.

What you’ll do

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Help the chefs to check, accept, and correctly store incoming deliveries
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks if needed
• Work closely with the kitchen team and supporting your colleagues
