Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with hygiene, stock control and service readiness. You will ensure food safety standards are followed, assist in deliveries and maintain clean service areas to uphold our high standards of quality.

The role requires flexibility in hours, ability to work on your own initiative, and a keen interest in food and customer service. Join a busy hospitality team and help deliver safe, great-tasting meals to our customers.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HACCP and all food hygiene regulations are followed.
• Check in deliveries and ensure high standard produce is accepted.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation and proper storage for all items.
• Clean service areas and equipment and related furniture.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations.
• Support health and safety policy and reporting of hazards.
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Be aware of safety hazards and report them to your line manager.
• Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth kitchen operation.

Aramark Ireland are currently looking for aKitchen Porterto join our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations
• Checking in of food deliveries ensuring that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the units.
• Ensuring that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
• Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Be aware of safety hazards within the kitchen and surrounding areas and to report them to your line manager
• Other duties assigned by your line manager from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.
