Avoca Ireland is hiring a Kitchen Porter for our Avoca Dunboyne store. This is a part-time permanent role with immediate start, offering daytime hours and weekend availability.

Responsibilities include washing cookware, maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with food prep, and following HACCP guidelines. A physically demanding environment and strong timekeeping are required, with opportunities for professional development and benefit programs.

Responsibilities

• Washing cookware, utensils, cutlery, etc. promptly and ensuring items are ready for the next shift.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitization in kitchen spaces, floors, shelving and countertops.
• Keep food storage areas clean and organized, following HACCP guidelines and cleaning schedules.
• Operate dishwashing machinery and use cleaning chemicals correctly as trained.
• Assist with food preparation including chopping vegetables or helping set up the kitchen for tomorrow.
• Adhere to high standards of personal hygiene and wear required clothing.

Avoca is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter in our Avoca Dunboyne store. This is a part-time permanent role for immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Washing all cookware, utensils, cutlery etc. in a timely manner and ensuring that all items are cleaned and ready for the next shift.
• Keeping all kitchen work spaces, floors, shelving, and counter tops at a high level of cleanliness and sanitization.
• Keeping food storage areas, fridges and dry stores clean and organized, following HACCP guidelines and a regular cleaning schedule.
• Using dishwashing machinery and cleaning chemicals correctly and in line with training.
• Food Preparation including chopping vegetables or helping chefs set up the kitchen for the following day.
• Wearing appropriate clothing/footwear and adhering to high standards of personal hygiene.
