Sodexo is looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our catering team in Leopardstown.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen, supporting the chefs and wider catering team to deliver a high-quality service.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and service areas
Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, work surfaces, crockery, utensils and other items
Support the team with receiving and storing deliveries, including correct stock rotation
Remove and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling safely and responsibly
Support chefs with basic food preparation when required
Ensure kitchen and storage areas are clean, organised and ready for service
Follow all relevant food safety, hygiene, Health & Safety and site procedures
Work collaboratively with chefs and catering colleagues to support an efficient service
Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
A good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
A reliable, professional and conscientious approach
Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Flexibility to support the wider team and operational requirements
