Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Kitchen Porter in Dublin 7 for a full-time role. You’ll maintain a clean, organized kitchen and support chefs with deliveries and prep. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, 37.5 hours weekly, with meals provided and access to Sodexo’s benefits package.

Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced setting, show attention to hygiene, and be a reliable team player who contributes to a positive kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean and organized.

• Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables safely.

• Work closely with the kitchen team and colleagues.

What you'll do:

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Help the chefs to check, accept, and correctly store incoming deliveries
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks if needed
• Work closely with the kitchen team and supporting your colleagues

What you'll bring:

• We provide full training, but if you’ve worked in a kitchen before, that’s a plus!
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• A good eye for cleanliness and hygiene
• A team-first attitude and a willingness to pitch in
