Job summary

Castleknock Hotel in Dublin 15 is seeking warm, energetic hospitality team members for casual and part-time or full-time roles in our kitchens. If you love fast-paced environments and creating great first impressions, join our award-winning team.

We operate Earth & Vine and 22 Bar & Restaurant, with early mornings and late shifts; transport guidance is advised. Castleknock Hotel has won multiple accolades and offers training, uniforms, meals, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good HACCP knowledge and food safety practices.
• Flexible with weekends and early/late shifts.
• Ability to work well in a high-volume team.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef team to prepare and present meals.
• Assist with daily kitchen tasks and clean as you go.
• Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Ensure food safety and quality across all outlets.
• Be flexible with shifts including weekends.

This role will include very early starts or late finishes, it is desirable for applicants to have their own transport as the shifts do not align with public transport access times.

What the role is:

• Have at least 2 years of experience working in a fast paced environment with a high volume covers
• Engage well within the team to provide support to the Chef team
• Have excellent HACCP knowledge
• Have the ability to adapt to change
• Work well under pressure in each area of the Kitchen when required
• Be organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks where required
• Be committed to the team and supporting your colleagues
• Be flexible with working hours (must be available for weekends and early/late shifts
