Job summary

Aramark Ireland seeks a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our Cork team. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, support chefs, and ensure supplies reach outlets promptly in a busy restaurant environment.

We welcome applicants with or without prior kitchen experience and offer comprehensive induction and a supportive, collaborative workplace culture. This is a permanent, site-based role in Cork.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, as induction and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant, maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Deliver food and supplies to designated outlets on-site in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house teams, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and assist colleagues.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in Cork, Ireland. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and restaurant, ensuring that our chefs and front-of-house team have everything they need to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Carry out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Deliver food and supplies to designated outlets on-site in a timely and efficient manner

• Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams where possible, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist colleagues - Maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times, adhering to organisational policies and procedures - Manage waste disposal and recycling responsibly, keeping the kitchen environment clean and safe
• Operate kitchen equipment and machinery safely and effectively, following all relevant guidelines - Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and restaurant staff, working collaboratively to meet service demands - Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management immediately - Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture through professional and friendly interactions with all team members
