Job summary

Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Carlow is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for the Breakfast Shift to join a luxury resort team. You will contribute to high standards of food preparation and service within Windward Management.

You will assist with breakfast prep, stock management, and kitchen hygiene, working shifts including weekends, with opportunities for training and career progression across the Windward group.

Qualifications

• Ability to work shifts.
• Weekends required; available 5 out of 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Breakfast prep and cooking.
• Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients.
• Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters.
• Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.
• Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom.
• Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock.
• Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans.
• Observing cooking times and correct temperatures.
