Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Carlow is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the breakfast service. You will handle prep, washing and basic cooking tasks in a busy hotel kitchen while keeping standards high.

The role requires weekend availability and shift flexibility. You will manage stock, rotate stock, assist with equipment, and contribute to a clean, safe kitchen environment with opportunities for training and progression within Windward group.

Qualificações

• Ability to work shifts, including mornings.
• Weekend availability and flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days.

Responsabilidades

• Breakfast prep and cooking
• Washing, peeling and preparing ingredients
• Using mixers and knives
• Reviewing inventory and stock needs
• Unloading supplies and organising stockroom
• Checking sell-by dates and rotating stock
• Cleaning appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
• Monitoring cooking times and temperatures

Responsibilities

• Breakfast Prep and Cooking
• Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
• Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
• Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
• Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
• Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
• Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
• Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
