Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for Ringaskiddy, Cork. This part-time role runs Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00pm–10:30pm, 15 hours per week, on-site with free parking and meals. The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract with opportunities for career development and Sodexo benefits.

You'll support cooks, keep the kitchen clean, assist with deliveries, and help with food prep in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• We provide full training, but if you’ve worked in a kitchen before, that’s a plus!
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• A good eye for cleanliness and hygiene
• A team-first attitude and a willingness to pitch in

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Help the chefs to check, accept, and correctly store incoming deliveries
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks if needed
• Work closely with the kitchen team and supporting your colleagues
