Job summary

Sodexo in Limerick is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support our busy catering service. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week, 5 over 7 shifts, 8:00am–4:00pm) offers training and opportunities for career development, with a competitive hourly rate of €15.10 and perks such as free parking, gym access, and free meals.

You will keep kitchen areas clean, help with deliveries, dispose of waste, assist chefs, and work closely with the team. We value a proactive, team-first attitude and good hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good eye for cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Help the chefs to check, accept, and correctly store incoming deliveries
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks if needed
• Work closely with the kitchen team and supporting your colleagues
