Job summary

GMC Utilities Group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our Dublin team and support delivery across civil and utilities projects. You will be responsible for site surveying, setting out, coordinating plant and materials, and ensuring quality and safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate will have setting-out experience, civils/utilities exposure, a full clean driving license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Setting out experience preferred.
• Civils, drainage or utilities experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates for the PM and Senior Site Agents.
• Conduct site surveying and setting out.
• Assist in controlling plant and materials on site.
• Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality standard.
• Regularly complete the site diary and paperwork.
• Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended.
• Ensure Health and Safety is implemented throughout site.
• Liaise with Clients / Consultancies when necessary.
