Job summary

Egis Ireland is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project leaders on major infrastructure initiatives based in Dublin or Castlebar. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Director to help deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality.

You will gain hands-on experience across planning, procurement, reporting, and stakeholder liaison, collaborating with engineers, designers, and contractors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Admin, or related field.
• Experience as a Project Coordinator or similar, ideally in Rail.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Primavera P6 knowledge is desirable.
• ERP systems experience (Oracle) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information.
• Liaise with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Maintain risk and issue logs and support mitigation measures.
• Liaise with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to keep projects moving.
• Support procurement and contract administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
