You will learn fabrication techniques, operate workshop machinery, and contribute to quality and continuous improvement initiatives within a specialist manufacturing environment. This site-based role offers hands-on training, safety-focused work, and opportunities to grow into advanced fabrication responsibilities in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Good numerical skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret basic drawings.
• Interest in learning plastic fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing or related hands-on environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of plastic products in line with drawings and specifications.
• Operate a range of workshop machinery and hand tools safely, including saws, routers, drills, and sanders.
• Measure, cut, shape, drill, route, and deburr plastic materials to required dimensions.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Perform quality checks on components and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area while adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Support senior fabricators with fabrication projects and develop skills across processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.
