Job summary

Protex AI, a Site Intelligence company, is seeking an entry-level IT Security Analyst in Dublin to support daily IT operations and compliance tooling under the Head of Security, Risk & Compliance.

In this hands-on role you will manage user lifecycles, device provisioning, security monitoring, vulnerability triage, and assist in gathering evidence for SOC 2 Type I audits and ISO 27001 maintenance, all within a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Foundational understanding of core IT operations, networking concepts, and OS (macOS/Windows).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customer focus.
• Organisational skills with meticulous documentation.
• Security curiosity and proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily IT operations and security tooling under Head of Security.
• Provision/de-provision systems access and devices for staff.
• Monitor security alerts and dashboards; escalate as needed.
• Support vulnerability triage and remediation efforts.
• Assist with SOC 2 Type I audits and ISO 27001 maintenance evidence.
• Review vendor security and DPAs with risk escalation.
• Help with tooling deployment (VPN, EDR, DLP, MDM).
• Support client security questionnaires and secure enablement initiatives.
