Job summary

Protex AI, a Site Intelligence company, is seeking an entry-level IT Security Analyst in Dublin to join a fast-growing startup. You will support day-to-day IT operations, ensure security baselines, and assist in ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness efforts.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with the Head of Security and cross‑functional teams to protect systems, manage user access, and document processes. A recent graduate is welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Cybersecurity; graduate candidates welcome.
• Foundational understanding of core IT operations, networking, and macOS/Windows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service focus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain meticulous documentation.
• Security curiosity with interest in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance.
• Familiarity with AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee lifecycle provisioning and de-provisioning of systems access.
• Configure and manage laptops to security baselines; maintain asset inventory.
• Monitor security alerts and logs; triage with Head of Security.
• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
• Help gather evidence for audits (SOC 2 Type I, ISO 27001 maintenance).
• Review third-party security and data processing agreements; support client due diligence.
• Assist with deployment and integration of security tooling (VPN, EDR, DLP, MDM).
• Provide L1/L2 helpdesk support and password reset assistance.
