Job summary

Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company in Leixlip, Ireland, seeks a Junior Geospatial Engineer to join the Special Projects team. You will support survey projects, assist the lead surveyor, and contribute to data capture and governance using modern survey methods.

The role reports to the Geospatial Manager and is based in Dublin with nationwide travel. A degree in survey-related field is desirable, with 1 year of survey experience and a valid EU/Irish driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of survey experience.
• Degree in a survey-related field desirable.
• Full EU/Irish driver’s licence desirable.
• Willing to work nationwide in Ireland.
• Physically capable of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead surveyor on surveying projects using specialised equipment and technology.
• Establish survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other surveying work.
• Record survey information and ensure survey kit is maintained.
• Deliver work in line with company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
