Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company in Kildare, Ireland, is recruiting a Senior Ecologist to strengthen our Ecology Survey offering within the Natural Environment department. The role blends office and site work, engaging with clients and building lasting relationships to protect Ireland's natural environment.

You will lead varied ecology surveys, perform feasibility studies, apply field capture technology, and manage geospatial data through leading GIS platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Chartered Member of CIEEM.
• 2+ years’ project management and client-focused experience.
• Full driving licence and right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ecology surveys with field and GIS support.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Process and interpret geospatial data using GIS platforms.
• Prepare quotations, bids, and contracts.
• Manage projects and build client relationships.
• Travel to client sites as required by projects.
