Job summary

Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, Ireland, seeks an Engineering Surveyor to support the Special Projects team. This role focuses on survey control establishment, network analysis, traversing and post-processing, with exposure to cutting-edge surveying technology.

You will work with a supportive Geospatial Manager and be based in Leixlip/Dublin, contributing to large-scale semiconductor projects in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ survey experience.
• Safe Pass certified.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Degree in survey-related field desirable.
• Experience with StarNet or equivalent control network adjustment/post-processing.
• Experience with AutoCad desirable.
• Full EU/Irish drivers’ licence desirable.
• Willingness to travel and work across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and occasionally lone-working on surveying projects in the field using specialised equipment.
• Use modern survey methods and devices such as total stations and Reality Capture Scanners.
• Establish survey controls, set out gridlines & datums, perform levelling, traversing and scanning using Leica tech.
• Record surveying information accurately on site to the agreed specification.
• Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
• Prepare setout files and report completed works.
• Maintain survey kit in good condition.
• Deliver to company policies, standards and best practices.
• Take on other duties as required by the business.
