Position Overview

This opportunity could suit someone from a geospatial background who is keen to move into a more client-facing, commercial role, or an experienced business development professional from the engineering or construction industry with a strong interest in geospatial solutions.

You’ll work with new and existing clients to understand their challenges, identify opportunities and help develop geospatial solutions that deliver real business value.

If you enjoy building relationships, developing opportunities and connecting technical solutions with client needs, this could be a great next step.

  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client challenges, objectives and existing workflows.
  • Translate technical requirements into practical, commercially viable geospatial solutions.
  • Develop high-quality proposals, including scope, methodology, resources, pricing and value propositions.
  • Work closely with sales, bid and project teams to progress opportunities from initial conversation through to delivery.
  • Provide technical geospatial expertise and advice to clients and internal teams.
  • Support project delivery with technical direction, troubleshooting and mentoring where required.
  • Maintain awareness of developments within the geospatial industry, including emerging technologies and market trends.
  • Support ongoing account development by identifying further opportunities to add value for clients.
What You Will Bring
  • Proven experience in business development, sales or client-facing consultancy, with a proactive approach to developing new opportunities.
  • Experience in geospatial, construction or a related industry, with strong technical knowledge.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.
  • Experience developing proposals and bids for complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicants must have the existing right to work in Ireland.
