Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a motivated Junior AI Engineer in Dublin to support the development, deployment, and optimisation of AI-driven solutions across a large-scale digital transformation program. This role offers exposure to AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science within a global engineering environment.

You will work with experienced AI, Software, and Cloud teams to build and improve AI models, data pipelines, and analytics platforms, while developing your skills in prompt engineering, LLM

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• Experience with AI/ML projects or internships.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of data processing, analytics, and model development.
• Familiarity with SQL and databases.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, AI models, and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to deliver AI-driven projects.
• Contribute to model training, testing, validation, and performance monitoring activities.

• Prepare and analyse structured and unstructured datasets for AI/ML applications.
• Assist with prompt engineering, generative AI initiatives, and LLM implementations.
• Develop technical documentation and knowledge sharing across project teams.
