Qualifications
- Proven expertise designing and delivering microservices architectures.
- Experience with Kafka and MQ for event-driven systems.
- Strong DB2 and Cassandra database access patterns.
- Experience leading engineering teams within complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and deployment of microservices-based applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Drive adoption of event-driven architectures using Kafka and MQ.
- Oversee database design and optimisation for DB2 and Cassandra.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, resilience and security.
- Communicate technical strategy and delivery updates to varied audiences.
