Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications. You will use AWS services to build cloud-based solutions, design database schemas, and optimize SQL performance.

The role also involves building batch processing systems to handle large data volumes and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Java development experience, strong knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience as a Java Developer in a product development or services environment.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bus.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including SQL and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
