Job summary

Coffey is seeking a Graduate IT Technician to deliver technical support across the entire organisation in Ireland. You will set up, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals, manage software licenses and subscriptions, and support both on-site and remote users.

You will contribute to user account management, automate routine IT tasks, and assist in ISO compliance activities while growing your knowledge of security best practices and IT service delivery.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT technical support experience or more.
• Strong understanding of IT networks and cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Windows file management.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Exchange.
• Experience in network and telephony patching.
• Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent.
• Must own a car and hold a full, clean Irish/EU driver’s licence.
• Must possess a valid work permit or Stamp 4 visa.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintenance of desks, laptops, mobiles, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts (Active Directory) and license management.
• Software updates, patching, and general system maintenance.
• Support on-site and remote users and troubleshoot issues.
• Documentation and organisation of IT processes and filing systems.
• Assist with cybersecurity measures and ISO 27001-related tasks.
• Data backup and recovery on main and remote servers.
• Onboarding new users and devices; vendor liaison for hardware.
