Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician / Delivery Support in Athlone. The role provides hands-on technical and coordination support for IT infrastructure delivery, including installation, configuration, verification and handover of services across network, server, storage and related ICT components.

You will collaborate with IT, project teams and vendors to ensure safe, secure and compliant delivery, while adhering to governance, asset management and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience supporting IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience with structured cabling, server/network equipment and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of IT infrastructure work packages from installation through handover.
• Coordinate with engineering, facilities and vendors to ensure safe, compliant delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and handover packs.
• Participate in governance meetings and track risks and actions.
• Ensure IT rooms, racks and cabling meet standards and traceability requirements.
• Assist in asset management and change control processes.
