Job summary

Marsh Ireland seeks a single accountable technology leader to shape and own the technology roadmap for the country. You will partner with the CEO, COO and business leaders to deliver major technology investments and ensure regional and global teams meet agreed outcomes.

You will drive governance of Capex programmes, manage delivery across a matrixed environment, and maintain operational resilience while exploring automation and AI-enabled improvements. Strong commercial credibility is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technology, digital or business technology
• Senior leadership experience at CIO/CTO level or equivalent
• Strong governance over major Capex programmes and budgets
• Proven ability to manage across matrixed, global, regional and local teams
• Excellent ability to translate business priorities into technology roadmaps
• Strong stakeholder management with CEO/COO and business leaders
• Experience in cyber risk, service management and operational resilience
• Background in financial services or professional services is preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a single integrated country technology roadmap, funded and sequenced for delivery.
• Partner with the Country CEO, COO and business leaders to translate priorities into technology decisions.
• Drive delivery accountability across regional, global, local, vendor and squad-based teams.
• Lead governance of major Capex programmes from business case through benefits realisation.
• Establish escalation routes and resolve cross-team delivery dependencies.
• Maintain service continuity and identify automation, data and AI-enabled improvements.
• Represent Marsh P&I Technology with clients and senior stakeholders on technology options and investment.
