Job summary

CPL Group is looking for an Investment Operations Supervisor to lead a small team in their County Meath office. The role oversees day-to-day processing of policyholder investment transactions and acts as a bridge between operations, customer service, and distribution partners.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in investment or life assurance operations, supervisory experience, and a degree in Finance/Business/Economics with strong analytical and deadline-focused skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in investment operations, insurance operations, or life assurance administration.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with investment-linked insurance products and policyholder transaction processing.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Third-level degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of investment operations analysts.
• Allocate workloads and monitor team performance against SLAs and deadlines.
• Oversee accurate, timely processing of policyholder transactions (new business, top-ups, withdrawals, switches, encashments).
• Ensure investment instructions from policyholders and intermediaries are processed correctly and on time.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints relating to investment transactions, escalating where needed.
• Support clear, accurate customer communications and policy statements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with intermediaries, brokers, and distribution partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures.
